Cranksgiving 2024: Pedal to make a difference in our community

Meeting Point: Velo Domestique, 6:30 pm
Join us on the evening of Friday, November 29th, for Cranksgiving 2024, our annual community ride with a mission. We’ll pedal through town, stopping at local shops to purchase food items that will be donated to Hope for Food—a local food charity dedicated to supporting those in need.
Event Schedule
6:30 pm - Meet outside Velo Domestique
6:45 pm - Shopping list handout
7:00 pm - Ride start time
7 - 10 pm - Post-ride gathering at Velo Domestique (Non-riders welcome!)
Cranksgiving isn’t just a ride; it’s a fun, community-driven scavenger hunt on bikes. Participants will collect essential food items from a designated shopping list while navigating a route under 16 miles.

Entry to the event is free, but riders are responsible for purchasing their own shopping list items, totalling around £6. Lights, locks, and helmets are recommended for safety and don’t forget a sturdy bag for all those donations.

Family-friendly Cransksgiving postponed till next year
This year, sadly we won’t be hosting a family-friendly Cranksgiving ride due to the exciting new addition to our own family in early December, but we’ll definitely be planning something for families next year.
