New Cafe Opening Hours and Unlimited Filter Coffee for £5

We’re always looking for ways to improve the experience for our loyal customers, and we have some exciting updates we’d like to share with you.

New opening hours: we're closing the cafe on Wednesdays

We're adjusting our weekly schedule by closing our cafe on Wednesdays. As you may know, we’ve traditionally closed on Tuesdays, but starting in October, we’re now closing the cafe on Tuesdays and Wednesdays (the bike workshop will still be open on Wednesdays). This decision wasn’t made lightly, but it’s all about ensuring that our team has enough time to rest, recharge, and come back even more energised to serve you.

Our new cafe opening hours:

Monday | 8:30 - 4
Tuesday   | CLOSED
Wednesday | CLOSED
Thursday  | 8:30 - 4 KITCHEN CLOSED
Friday    | 8:30 - 4
Saturday  | 8:30 - 4
Sunday    | 9 - 3

Last food orders 3 pm (Sundays at 2.30 pm)

We hope this new schedule will allow us to continue delivering quality service, food and coffee, and we appreciate your understanding as we make these changes.

Full kitchen menu Friday through Monday

From Friday through Monday, you’ll be able to enjoy our full kitchen menu, packed with all your favourite dishes—whether you’re here for brunch, lunch, or a cosy afternoon snack.

On Thursdays, while our kitchen will be closed, we’ll still have delicious cakes and coffee available all day long.

Thursday offer: unlimited tea & filter coffee for £5!

To make your Thursday visits even more enticing, even though our kitchen will be closed, we’re excited to introduce a brand-new Thursday Special Offer for the whole of October:

Enjoy unlimited tea and filter coffee all day long for just £5

Enjoy a relaxed Thursday with us—whether you’re meeting friends, working, or just taking a break with a slice of cake, you can sip away all day with this great offer.

Bike workshop is open as usual

Whilst the kitchen will be closed on Thursdays and the cafe is closing on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, our bike workshop will remain open as usual. So, if your bike needs a tune-up or repair, feel free to drop by—we’ll still be here to get you back on the road!

Why we’re making these changes

Our goal with this new schedule is simple: We want to deliver the best possible experience for you, our valued customers. By giving our team a bit more time to recharge, we’ll be able to maintain the high standards you’ve come to expect from us—fresh ingredients, creative dishes, and, of course, great service.

We also want to show our gratitude for your continued loyalty. Whether you’re here for a coffee break on Thursday or a full meal on the weekend, we appreciate every visit, and we’re committed to making your experience at Velo Domestique as enjoyable as possible.

Thanks for understanding—we’d appreciate your feedback

We know changes like these can affect your routine, and we want to thank you for your understanding and continued support. We’d love to hear your feedback on our new hours and offers. Feel free to share your thoughts during your next visit or get in touch online.

Thank you again for your loyalty. We look forward to welcoming you to Velo Domestique during our new hours and letting you enjoy everything we offer.
