Our Planned Bicycle Repair Cost Increase for 2023: Why, how much and how you can save money

Businesses across the UK are facing new challenges as we step into 2023. Primarily, these challenges centre around increased costs.

Unfortunately, to cover our energy bill increase alone, we need to increase the cost of everything by 10%. As much of the cycling industry relies on energy, especially manufacturing, the price of parts and accessories has also increased, putting a big squeeze on our margins.

We've kept our bicycle service prices down for as long as possible, and sadly we can't control this need for a price increase anymore.

However, we can control how we share that news with you, which is why we're giving you the opportunity to book your 2023 bike servicing now for 2022 prices.

How much does a bicycle service cost?

You can find our 2022 bicycle price list here, but if you book your bike repair service before the 1st of January 2023 for a service date in January, February or March, we will service your bike with 2022 priced labour costs.

How often should I get my bike serviced?

If you're a regular cyclist, we recommend getting your bike serviced every 6 to 8 months, as usage throughout autumn and winter can be much harder wearing on your components.

If I don’t get my bike serviced, what happens?

Even if you're a fairweather cyclist, keeping your bike in good working order year-round prevents the likelihood of costly problems like perished tyres and seized parts.
