Enter the New Forest Gridiron 100 km | Sunday, 9 October 2022
Entry is now open for one of the most immersive randonnées on the South coast. Join us on the New Forest Gridiron, an autumnal adventure through the vast expanse of the New Forest, winding along undiscovered lanes and through luscious wooded canopies.
The Gridiron is a cycling event that each rider can make their own - it is not a ride entirely focused on speed. The route is 100km of accessible riding, making it suitable for almost all cycling abilities. Keeping to the randonnée spirit, riders get a written route description, and self-reliance is encouraged. GPX files are provided for entrants, and the map can be found here.
The event, now in its 29th year, takes place on the 2nd Sunday of October very year, allowing riders to bask in the beautiful shades of orange and brown leaves that adorn the trees.
This year's Gridiron event takes place on Sunday, 9 October 2022.
