Introducing: Lockdown Community Radio - Your audio antidote to these troubling Coronavirus times
Since we are unable to serve you incredible coffee and food during the current Coronavirus situation, on March 20th we put our heads together with our good friend Kyle from Lo Key Collective and started Lockdown Community Radio. In these chaotic times, we have created a platform for musicians, events organisers and business whose livelihoods have been affected by the current Coronavirus situation.
Our radio station will be live on air from Velo Domestique in Southbourne every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from midday to 6pm. We are inviting people to listen in to find out how they can support the communities, NHS and industries that mean so much to us at this difficult time. Join our Facebook group page for live video and previous editions.
We've already been fortunate to have been joined by DJs Flymo Sale and Pylon Soundz. We've also been talking to NHS staff and businesses supporting them like Dave Hall from Conker Spirit who is producing hand sanitiser to provide to care homes and hospitality businesses in the area. Earlier this week we were joined by Luke from Bad Hand Coffee and Pete from Bakehouse24.
This week we have live music from Frank Treacle, we're talking to THE Jim from Jimmy's Iced Coffee, tips for looking after your spine while working from home thanks to AECC, DJ set from the We Broke Free team as well as some other amazing guests.
Feel free to call in and talk to us about how you're doing in these unprecedented times; our radio number is 07500630245
If you know any other musicians, DJs or businesses who would like to feature on Lockdown Community Radio, please ask them to get in touch:

Don't forget you can find all the coffee, brewing equipment and Velo merchandise you need on our Web Shop including coffee from this week's 'What's in my Mug?' feature roaster Hard Lines in Cardiff.
Huge thank you to Luke Griffiths for coming through with our incredible logo so swiftly as well as Chris from Kalidescope who has kindly lent us most of the equipment we needed to make this possible.
Much love, Keep it Local. Keep it Locked
